Foresight Solar News Round-Up: January 2025

Welcome to Foresight Solar's monthly round-up, where we share our latest news and initiatives. Each month, we highlight key achievements to keep you informed about our latest projects and industry insights.

Foresight Solar’s first post of the year shared content from Solar Energy UK, the trade association, about how solar and food farms can co-exist. The video showed three case studies of farmers around the UK who had installed panels on their land. They shared their opinions of why they did and what the outcomes were.

Again, picking up on easy to understand, credible material, the following week detailed how power purchase agreements helps buyers and sellers of electricity fix prices. PPAs are a core mechanism of FSFL’s model and plays an important role in its income and growth strategy.

In an interview with Proactive, Ross Driver commented on the latest market developments and discussed how the fund is preparing for 2025.

Closing out the month of January, an interview with Tony Roper, one of Foresight Solar’s new independent directors, outlined his background, his interest in joining the fund, the role of the board of directors, and the opportunities and challenges for investors.
